Mr. Everton Jeffers is the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. He was enlisted in the Police Force on 16th December, 1982. On 27th February 2019 he was appointed to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration.
His previous postings include Special Patrol Group, Out Stations, Immigration Department, Narcotics Department, STRATCOM, Human Resource Department and Police Training School where he served as the Commandment.
Deputy Commissioner Jeffers attended a number of training courses to include Staff and Junior Command at the National Staff College in Jamaica, Commanders Leadership and Management at the Specialist Crime Academy in Trinidad, Eye Detect Lie Detection, Science and Practice of Polygraph Examination in Barbados, RSS Executive Development Program at UWI, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados among many others.
D/C Jeffers is a qualified Polygraph and Eye Detect Lie Detection Examiner and has also completed the Advanced Management Training at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Rosewell, New Mexico.
