Samuel Alexander Joseph is an Assistant Commissioner of Police in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. He was enlisted in the Police Force on January 16, 1992 and is presently the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department.
During the early part of his policing career, he worked at “A” Division, Barbuda, “C” Division, “B” Division, Criminal Investigation Department and Sir Wright F. George Training Academy where he was the Chief Instructor.
Assistant Commissioner Joseph has attended several training courses throughout his policing career locally, regionally and internationally, the most noteworthy being Executive Staff & Command (UWI, Cave Hill Campus), Staff and Junior Command (National Staff College, Jamaica), Tactical Medic course (A.U.A), Advanced Criminal Investigation, Drug Interdiction and Caribbean Border Enforcement to name a few.
He is also a qualified RSS lecturer and served as an Instructor for the RSS Training Team, facilitating a number of courses, including the RSS Senior Leadership Course 1/2018 and 2019 and RSS Staff & Command. He is also a lecturer for RSS Crime Scene First Responders Course and RSS Crime Scene Management throughout the RSS member states.
